Asociación de Bancarios del Uruguay
AEBU

A solid discourse positions social organizations on the public sphere, while also providing them with professionalism and reflection.

In addition to being one of the main labor unions in Uruguay, the Uruguayan Union of Bank Employees (AEBU, for its Spanish acronym) is a relevant actor in the discussion of social and financial issues in the country.

Since 2001, Salvo has been working with AEBU in the development and production of its internal and external communications. This task requires a delicate handling of the Union’s discourse, the stakeholders involved, and the discursive solidity that a social and political organization of this nature deserves, in a country known for its solid democratic institutionality and for its position an international financial center.

For more than 20 years, we have collaborated in the creation of a large number of institutional projects aimed at a wide range of audiences, promoting social participation and political action in different areas and issues: labor rights, financial inclusion, culture, gender equality, occupational health, sexual harassment in the workplace. From the construction of graphic brands and national public outreach campaigns, to the production of complex audiovisual pieces or customized technological products, this collaboration has involved the development of a particular discourse to accompany the Union’s lines of communication and the variety of services it provides through its different channels.
